We will kick off our camp with a Youth Yoga Workshop. The program introduces yoga to youth and offers a unique possibility for them to experience a joyful blossoming of their natural potential. The curriculum is led through an exploration of asanas, pranayam and nada yoga (chanting) allowing each youth to develop and live in optimal health, balance, focus and inner peace.
The workshop will be held over 3 days and attendance of all 3 days is required (Wed 7/5 -> 9am-Noon, Thu 7/6 -> 9am-Noon and Fri 7/7 -> 9am-Noon) at Creekside Community Center in Bloomington. Exact Address: 9801 Penn Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55431 Room #105. Once the workshop is completed, there will be daily guided yoga sessions which will allow the youth to incorporate Yoga as a lifestyle.
After the Yoga session, your youths will be taken to the Hyland Park for outdoor activities the remainder of the day.
