ANMN Summer Picnic – Food Festival 2023

ANMN is delighted to continue the beloved tradition of hosting a summer picnic for the Nepali community of Minnesota. It’s an exceptional opportunity to cherish moments with friends and family, relish delightful Nepali cuisine, and bask in the warm weather.

This year, we have selected the picturesque St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park as the venue for our annual summer event. Conveniently located just a thirty-minute drive from the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, this park sits alongside the breathtaking St. Croix River. With its diverse landscape encompassing rolling upland hills, wooded ravines, and three-quarters of a mile of river frontage, it provides the perfect setting for a day outing or camping adventure. The park boasts hiking trails, boat docks, and swimming beaches, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, the picnic area features a playground for children, a volleyball court, and a tennis court.

Prepare your taste buds for a culinary treat as Nepali families and businesses set up a variety of food stalls offering mouthwatering delicacies. A portion of the proceeds from the food sales will be contributed to ANMN’s initiatives.

We warmly invite you to join us at this remarkable event. Indulge in delectable dishes, participate in exciting games, go hiking or swimming, or simply relax and unwind with your loved ones.

• Please note that a day pass for your vehicle can be purchased at the entrance for $5, allowing you to access the park.
• While we understand the love for pets, we kindly request that you refrain from bringing them into the designated picnic area.
• Remember to pack sunscreen lotion, goggles, camping chairs, and mats for your comfort and enjoyment. Don’t forget to bring cash for purchasing food from the stalls.
• Parents are responsible to watch their children. ANMN volunteers will not be able to chaperone the kids.
